Govt benevolence to textile sector to continue

Textile industry of Turkey remained least impacted by global financial crisis in 2009, said Mr. Zafer Çaglayan, the Turkish state minister for foreign trade.

Over past seven years, the textile as well as apparel sectors of the country have been attaining heights and registering remarkable achievements across the world. These two sectors will keep receiving assistance from Turkish government, he informed.

The Minister was speaking during his visit to Paris. He also paid visit to Texworld and Premiere Vision trade shows and had a meeting with French Minister of Economy, Industry and Employment, Ms. Christine Lagarde.
